Bonding with your Dog is the key to a long, healthy and enjoyable relationship. And that bonding process begins as soon as you bring your Dog home.
The relationship starts out tentatively because you don’t know your Dog and he or she is in a new environment and doesn’t know you yet. Like any relationship, you’ve got to spend time together doing things and getting to know each other.
If you have a young puppy, this bonding can be relatively quick. With an older or adopted dog the bonding process is just as important even though it can take longer. In either case, puppy or older Dog, looking into a Training Program can pay lasting dividends as you gain a deeper relationship with your Dog. Working with your Dog in the Training environment deepens the bond as you both learn about each other.
This past weekend we hosted Duke Ferguson Owner / CEO , Master Trainer of Unleashed Potential K9 Academy and the creator of the Dog Training Genesis on line video training program. We’ll be sharing this knowledge in upcoming training classes…stay tuned!
We’re closed today at The Dog Stop for Family Day. We hope you and your Dog get to spend time enjoying the day. And remember: With this cold weather, take care outdoors!
